    Remote backup is especially crucial for laptops and phones, which frequently break or are lost/stolen.

    Our proactive maintenance uses software we install on every machine that communicates directly with our secure network operations center (NOC), so that we can respond to alerts quickly and invisibly. Repairs can often be done remotely, minimizing interruptions in your office.

DESKTOP MONITORING & MAINTENANCE

Our desktop approach installs a combination of software that:
• constantly monitors hidden OS logs and hardware files to spot impending problems – and warn us in advance.
• handles all OS patch installation, but only installs patches that are proven to be trouble-free.
• Manages antivirus and malware protection.
• backs up critical files and system state information, as well as data. (optional)

At our secure NOC, we examine results throughout the day. When a problem, or potential problem, is identified, we attempt to fix things remotely, only going onsite when necessary.

SERVER MONITORING & MAINTENANCE

In addition to the points in our desktop maintenance, our server approach adds specialized tools that track and analyze server activity 7x24x365.

Whenever a system fails to work properly or a fault is found, we are notified. We remotely access the server and take steps to fix it. If we cannot solve the problem remotely, we will contact you for physical access or, if you provide us access in advance, we will go on-site to make repairs.

We always work as quickly as possible and try to do all our work invisibly in the background.

MOBILE DEVICE MANAGEMENT

Mobile devices – especially personally-owned ones – can provide significant security and maintenance challenges. Depending upon your needs, our configuration and proactive maintenance vary.

For all devices, we load software that protects against viruses and malware, and we enable secure access to data and programs in your office. We monitor mobile devices remotely in our secure NOC to give you the same protection and support we give computers.

Where professional security is a strong concern (law, legal, accounting, government, etc.), we can secure even personally-owned phones and tablets to become ‘2 devices in one.’ One device is your normal personal phone, while the ‘second device’ runs fully sandboxed and apart from the main phone—and can be remotely wiped in case of theft or loss.

Networks should be regularly tested for performance, reliability, and intrusion detection.

On-site, we use specialized software to run these tests and we produce comprehensive reports that detail performance along with security concerns.

The maintenance agents we install on your desktops and servers provide additional feedback so that we may identify any deterioration or possible intrusion.

When we identify network issues, we try to solve them remotely, and we can contact your Internet and other providers on your behalf to report and solve those problems. As necessary, we come on-site to perform repairs.
